There are both professional and amateur choirs.

Professional choirs consist of trained musicians and often offer permanent positions, either as part of larger ensembles or as independent groups. In our country, we have the RTS Choir, The National Theater Choir, and the Terazije Theatre Choir.

Amateur choirs, on the other hand, are made up of music enthusiasts who come together to sing without any formal musical education. Over time, members may learn basic notation for rhythm and pitch if they don’t already know it.

How did we come up with Choir Singing Team
Building?

We’ll let you in on a little secret: the idea for our entire Fortissimo team-building program was born a few years ago when a company approached us to create a team-building activity for their 60 employees in the form of a choir. They wanted to sing two popular local pop songs together.

The HR representative of that company called us enthusiastically, sharing the employees’ desire to learn to sing together. They were looking for something different, something new, that involved music.

So, we sat down, brainstormed, and envisioned all the possible scenarios. We quickly realized that not only it was possible, but it would also be a lot of fun!

What is the working method behind Choir Team
Building?

The methodology is similar to working with any choir, though condensed into just a few hours. First, we read and get familiar with the lyrics, then we introduce the rhythm, and finally, the melody. The song is broken down and rehearsed in sections, and by the end of the session, we have a complete song—much to the delight of everyone in the choir!

Benefits of Choir Team Building

Singing relieves stress, boosts the happy hormone, makes people laugh, and improves overall mood.

If your team chooses this team-building activity, we’ll send you a questionnaire with several song options (or excerpts), allowing your employees to vote on which song they want to sing.

Come sing and have fun with us!

from 20 to 150 people

Choir singing is a popular hobby among many employees.
